The Reality Of Spiritual Warefare - 219

22ND DECEMBER, 2025

[A season of Preparation 209— THE REALITY OF SPIRITUAL WARFARE 219]

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side."—Isaiah 60:1-4

It is essential to immerse yourself in God’s Word daily and truly grasp His Truth. The enemy will relentlessly throw lies at you, seeking to confuse and destabilize your faith. To stand firm, you must know the truth and anchor yourself in it. Christians who are Biblically illiterate risk floundering or even collapsing under spiritual pressure.

"Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth…" — Ephesians 6:14

Be intentional about filtering the thoughts that pass through your mind. Do not allow doubt, fear, lust, pride, condemnation, or any thoughts not aligned with God to roam freely. Small thoughts, if entertained, can grow unchecked and take hold of your soul, leading to sin, anxiety, or other spiritual struggles. Your mind is the front line of the battle—give the enemy a foothold, and he will advance.

When unwelcome thoughts arise, confront them: speak truth aloud or remind yourself of God’s promises. For example:

"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." — Isaiah 41:10

Not every thought that contradicts God’s Word comes from the enemy. Some arise from your flesh, emotions, or even random sparks of the mind. When this happens, don’t immediately go on the defensive in warfare mode—discern carefully.

The enemy often uses fear to gain a foothold, trying to torment you with anxiety, worry, anger, or even terror. He may even plant blasphemous or harmful thoughts, attempting to make you feel they originate from you.

Remember: fear and anger are two sides of the same coin—give in to fear, and anger will eventually follow. Encountering fear is natural, but don’t let it linger. Take a moment to regroup, then move forward in faith.

Doubt is another weapon the enemy wields, sometimes even causing Believers to question their Salvation. When faced with such thoughts, always return to God’s unchanging truth. He is with you, and His presence is constant. Refuse to entertain doubt—do not allow it to take root.

"…for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” — Hebrews 13:5

Your mind is a battlefield, but it can also be your fortress. By saturating yourself in Scripture, filtering your thoughts, and standing firmly on God’s Promises, you refuse the enemy any ground. Truth, courage, and faith are your armor—hold fast, and you will stand victorious. Let every thought, every action, and every word reflect the God who never leaves you, upholds you, and strengthens you for every battle. Blessed be His Holy Name! Amen...

I arise and shine, for my light has come. The glory of God is risen upon me. I am the light of the world and therefore, I cannot be hidden. I am moving to a higher level and I occupy the place God has prepared for me. In this season, I am stretching out my boundaries. God is elevating me. By His Spirit, He beautifies my life and empowers me to do Greater Works. I step into God's spotlight, I am bigger, better and greater. God will perform new and unusual acts in my life. God's blessings come to me through unexpected ways and unusual people.  I am connected to the right people in my way. I decree order where there is disorder. I declare joy where there is sadness. I declare fruitfulness where there is barrenness. I proclaim peace where there is turmoil. I decree God's perfect will into my life, family, Church and Nation. It's my Year of *GREATER LIGHT: I dominate, I Shine.
